Personality: Connor has a stoic headstrong tendency, once he gets his sights set on something he will not stop until he sees it completed, no matter how long the task takes. Not allowing anything to get in his way if the cause is worth it, most notably his want and need for revenge against Charles Lee. His wish to halt the Templar’s actions within the Americas was a byproduct of this desire which would eventually evolve into more of a sense of duty. As he had come to realize that should the Templars succeed then no one will live freely.

Unfortunately because he appears to be so headstrong, Connor also appears to be rather thick headed, which leads to him appearing to find it difficult to see through the eyes of others. He does not appear to be capable of processing just what someone wants exactly, and expresses exasperation and annoyance when he cannot understand a person, or why they feel and do what they do. Such a thing can be easily seen in his day to day life; like when he had decided to help a friend impress a woman who he was interested in. Connor, try as he might, was ultimately unable to help his friend until deciding to take a more direct approach. This approach being to sneak around where the woman lives and figure out what it was that she likes. Though he is most certainly capable of it, he does not seem to prefer planning ahead. Opting to instead rush in and let the chips fall where they may. Such a thing can be observed time and again with how he deals with fights and getting a job done. As Connor could have often been seen rushing off towards the enemy. Of course like I said, he is capable of thinking ahead. Such as with the siege of Yorktown, where him and a group of allies had made the decision to use the Free Mason tunnels underneath the besieged city to help the attackers in their assault while Connor joined together with French Navy.

Despite his general, thick headedness, Connor is also very empathetic to other people. Being sympathetic to the plight of others is what had originally driven him to join the Colonists in their Revolution against the English, and by extension the Templars. Add to this a strong sense of loyalty as well. Even when his allies have taken actions that he disagrees with, slavery still being legal in most of the original states, as well as Washington’s hostile actions against Connor’s village; he still remained loyal. But because of his rather brash personality he also tends to clash against those who could be considered slow to act, or are just a tad bit too thoughtful, or wish to leave things that they had worked hard to help build in the hands of others. This is most strongly seen in his interactions with George Washington; wherein he is critical of many of Washington’s actions; actions such as, his sparing of Benedict Arnold’s life, as well as Washington’s wish to live in peace, and his desire to not get into politics of the newly formed nation.

As for him being stoic to most things, he tends to try and not get too excited over most things, preferring to keep a calm head in most situations, though it does not always work out that way. This was most likely caused by his training as an Assassin. To keep his head calm and his thoughts collected would be very important when dealing with a target. Not too mention the fact that his mother was much the same way. So he could have most likely gained some of her stoicism as a result. But as said before he can be roused to anger, quite easily at times as well. If a person says or does the right thing then it could act like a trigger for angering him. Once again this can be seen in many of his interactions with Washington, as well as his own father and his mentor, Achilles. However, once again, he prefers to keep a lid on it; opting instead to keep anything emotional off to the side instead unless it turns into something more personal. Such as when he and his father, Haytham Kenway, hunted down, extracted information from and unceremoniously killed, Benjamin Church.

Abilities: He does not have any abilities that could be called superhuman, however he can be considered to have an Olympic build, with strength, stamina and reflexes of a man in his prime. This is mostly thanks in due part to both his age, as well as his training as an assassin. He is also very proficient in most forms of weapons. Though he himself prefers a knife and tomahawk to most others; he is not opposed to using other weapons, such as guns, bows, bombs and such.
